It was a disappointing outing for our Melbourne University (2), who lost to Greenvale Kangaroos Blue on a frustrating day.
Greenvale Kangaroos Blue set us 136 to win, finishing on 0/135 from 18 overs. Mannatpreet Sandhu made a polished 51 not out for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
Our chase ended at 4/118 from 18 overs. Jyotsna Koduru led the way with 27 off 24 balls with four fours. Megan Chinniah made 22 off 22 balls.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
That's three losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard. Credit to the visitors, and well played.
