It was a disappointing outing for our Melbourne University (2), who were second best against La Trobe University Flamewings on a frustrating day.
Melbourne University (2) 6/146, La Trobe University Flamewings 9/152 was the final tally. The hosts' best was a half-century from Maria Dahiya, who made 51. Reet Dhillon claimed a terrific five-wicket haul, finishing with five for 38. Zoe Brady added two for 22.
Dhillon's 45 was the highlight with the bat.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
