Our Melbourne University 2nd XI were on song as they chalked up a victory over Greenvale Kangaroos 2nd XI with Benjamin Rolfs leading the way.
Over the course of the match we totalled 4/366, and Greenvale Kangaroos 2nd XI 10/135 and 7/162. Benjamin Rolfs posted a polished hundred, making 127 not out off 160 balls. Luca van der Sluys posted a quality hundred, making 104 off 153 balls. Connor Hastings's 70 off 144 balls was a half-century to remember.
Liam Biddiscombe tore through the batting order, taking five for 48. Jacob Stevenson chipped in with three for 22. Nilan Fernando made a quality 51 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Our bowlers led the way on the day.
