Despite some good moments, our Melbourne University 2nd XI were beaten by Prahran 2nd XI at Toorak Park.
Prahran 2nd XI's innings ended at 10/314, ours at 10/186. Tom Mileto's 54 off 114 balls was a half-century to remember. Michael Forwood provided good support with 32. James Boyce was the main threat for the hosts, taking four for 42.
James Browning starred with the ball, taking three for 48. Jacob Stevenson weighed in with two for 38 off sixteen overs. Nicholas Morrey posted a superb hundred for our opponents, finishing on 107.
We'll go again.
