It was one to learn from for our Melbourne University 3rd XI, who went down against Ringwood 3rd XI despite Tharindu Perera's 28.
Ringwood 3rd XI's innings ended at 10/328, ours at 10/157. Tharindu Perera's 28 off 43 balls was the highlight with the bat. Jarryd Cameron was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 37.
With the ball, Alex Ingpen did the damage, claiming three for 47 off thirteen overs. Elliott Durrant weighed in with three for 85 off twenty overs. Hats off to Luke Ivanovic, whose 171 was a stylish century for the visitors.
