It was a satisfying day for our Melbourne University 4th XI, who got up against Greenvale Kangaroos 4th XI with a polished team effort.
We posted 6/189, while Greenvale Kangaroos 4th XI made 10/88 and 10/101. Torren Arthur brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 53 not out off 77 balls. Hayden Lim posted a half-century, making 52 not out off 42 balls with six fours. Gavinu Devpura added a useful 30 off 46 balls.
Ethan Yates was the hero with the ball, claiming a six-wicket haul (six for 30). Aryan Arora backed up well, taking three for 9.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
That's back-to-back wins for the side. Well done to everyone involved.
