We batted first and put 8/217 on the board from 45 overs. Henri du Toit top-scored with 47 off 74 balls. Raph Cramb weighed in with 43 off 80 balls. Akshay Khabarwal bowled well for Northcote 4th XI, taking three for 38.
Our opponents reached the target at 4/218 in 41 overs. Fifty for Charlie Pataki, who made 67 not out for the visitors. For our opponents, Yashen Sharma was unbeaten on 47. Mohammed Abdul Majeed was the pick of our bowlers with two for 37.
There were some fine individual efforts to build on. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
