On the road, our Melbourne University Over 40 1st XI proved too strong for South East Over 40 1st XI in Eastern Cricket Association (ECA) - Veterans.
We set South East Over 40 1st XI a target of 178, finishing on 2/177 from 36 overs. Tim Grant's 41 off 65 balls was the highlight with the bat. Daniel Lowery made 40 off 43 balls.
In reply, the hosts finished on 10/108 from 36 overs. Grant picked up three for 12 off six overs. Gregory Kennedy also took two for 8.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. A day to enjoy for everyone at Melbourne University.
