Playing at home, our Melbourne University 3rd XI defeated Prahran 3rd XI with a performance to be proud of.
Our totals were 7/261, against Prahran 3rd XI's 10/258. Connor Hastings brought up a brilliant century, finishing with 113 not out off 208 balls. Benjamin Rolfs made a superb 53 off 80 balls, a well-made fifty. Credit to Parth Rath, who took three for 68 for our opponents.
Angus Harms picked up four for 36 off thirteen overs. The visitors' best was a half-century from Pranav Menon, who made 64. Henry Nicholls passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 62.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. We've now beaten three sides in a row. Well done, team.
