It was one to learn from for our Melbourne University (2), who fell to Melton Senior Women One Day on Sunday in CV Womens Community Cricket Competition.
We batted first and finished with 8/98 on the board from 19 overs. Hannah Box top-scored with 34 off 38 balls. Melton Senior Women One Day's best with the ball was Srishti Batra (three for 11).
The visitors knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/100 in 15 overs. Yashika Batra remained unbeaten on 28 for our opponents.
That's two losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
Congratulations to the visitors on the win.
