There was no joy for our Melbourne University (2), who lost out to Point Cook Centrals Women's 1st XI at University Main Oval on Sunday.
First up, we made 0/137 from 20 overs. Zara Ford made a great 74 not out off 78 balls, a well-made fifty. Jyotsna Koduru was still there at the end on 30 off 44 balls.
Point Cook Centrals Women's 1st XI knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/139 in 18.1 overs. Fifty for Nicole Singh, who made 54 not out for the visitors.
Plenty to take out of this one.
The side will be keen to bounce back.
